Mt.
Shasta is a volcano in northern California.
Most of the ground there
is volcanic sand and rock, and in some areas the soil is very poor in
nutrients and compost. I experimented on a small spot in the lot next
door to see what I could raise
in this soil with Sonic Bloom. Here are
some results.

Here's my tomato buddies.
They were really happy with Sonic Bloom. The soil was pretty
rocky with lots of volcanic dust and very little nutrition.
I
grew my tomato buddies big enough to hug.
I went out to the forests to
pick up dried cow dung. I made it into a manure tea by soaking
it in a tub of water. Essentially I made something like

I put the tomatoes in a hoop to keep them off the ground, to
make cultivation easier, and to utilize the space above the
garden. |

| It might be
hard to imagine holding a tomato in your hand that is bursting

Now remember that these
tomatoes were grown on some of the worst soil I've ever seen or
used for a garden: no tilth, no water holding capacity, zilch.

Back in the 80's in
Minnesota was coming out of a two-year drought and the
