Many years ago when grandpa
was a little boy he read a book about a new kind of gardening called
organic gardening. You must remember that there are dozens of grandpas
back in a line that have done nothing but farm and raise cows.
After reading the book about
organic gardening grandpa told great grandpa that he could grow a better
garden than was currently being grown. Great grandpa laughed and called
grandpa a dreamer and foolish. He said that this new fangled idea was
rubbish and that it was a waste of time.
Well that just made
grandpa mad and so he studied every book there was available on the
subject.
After a little pestering,
grandpa got great grandpa to allow him to make a little organic garden in the
corner of the farm providing that he would promise that it would not
interfere with the rest of the chores around the farm. Using left over
seed and plants culled from great grandpa's truck garden, grandpa began to
make a garden. Within two months grandpa's little organic garden began to
out-produce great grandpas truck garden in every vegetable category.
The vegetables sold for
more money and the customers wanted more.
Soon great grandpa was
over trying to figure out what was the difference. Being no dummy, he
bought all the books that were in print on the subject at the time and
even helped grandpa go to agricultural college even though he was just in
the eighth grade at school. Because the garden was so much better than
anything the community had ever seen, everyone in the community assisted
great grandpa in getting the permission for the advanced schooling.
Grandpa became very
interested in just how plants absorb nutrients and what it takes to make
the perfect plant food.
When grandpa was only 13
years old he won a prize in soil science at the University. They could not
believe anyone that young knew that much about soil and how it worked.
Everybody who knows grandpa knows that he is really really smart.
After he received his
second degree, the high school he should have gone to, decided he should
have a high school diploma.
Now grandpa is retired
and he finally told us how to make his secret formulas. Grandpa
can grow plants better than any one we know.
When asked how come the
formulas work so well he always laughs and says "Its the Magic of Nature!"

are a number of differences between

With these products your plants receive a whole plant food, not a chemical
combination or a bunch of isolated compounds.
Lets give you an example of the difference between

and the typical fertilizer including organic fertilizers. Lets suppose
that you really like a tall frosted glass of root beer with vanilla ice
cream.
Imagine sitting in a recliner on a hot day and sipping from this cool
refreshing delicious drink.
Now imagine your telling some one that you really enjoy a good root beer
float and that you also like cherries, chocolate, and a really good steak.
Now suppose that this some one got together a vat of root beer, a bunch of
ice cream, a box of cherries ground up, some chocolate powder and a ground
up cow. They prepare this large vat with all the ingredients that you
admit you really like. Now they bodily throw you in and say, enjoy! You
should be the happiest person alive because now you have all your favorite
foods in the greatest abundance.
When you douse your plants in fertilizer, you are literally doing to your
plants what the person in the example would be doing to you. To the plants
it is the same shocking and perhaps deadly experience that it would be to
you.
The operative word here is sip.
Slowly sipping through the straw allows your body to absorb and to be
satisfied with the result. You take in as your body can handle it. If you
supply your plants with the things they like at the rate they can absorb
it, they too will respond positively. Typically your plants are given far
more nutrient than they can use and to often it is in a form that is not
readily available to them.
The more energy a plant must expend on acquiring its nutrition, the less
it has for growth and reproduction.
When the soil surrounding the plant is presented with too much or the wrong
kind of nutrient, it simply can not process it and the nutrient either
washes away during the next rain or the soil is ruined as a result of the
chemical application.
