You can learn several important principles about web marketing through the design of this website. I've used much of what I learned from Cory Rudl's Insider Secrets to Internet Marketing, the best return I've ever received from a $180 purchase. Although this website still is a PR 0, it's ranked #11 out of 48,600 competitors on Google results for the keyword phrase, "sonic bloom." My stolen website reached #2 in its first five years. During the past several months, most of my efforts have been dedicated to two other websites, www.real-dream-catchers.com and www.real-debt-elimination.com/. Started in February 2007, Page Rank 2 Real-Dream-Catchers is #73 out of 832,000 competitors for the keyword phrase, "dream catchers."
Started in January 2007, Real-Debt-Elimination is #90 out of 4.5 million competitors for "debt elimination." It HAD been as high as #32 out of 4.5 million but I'm playing with a relatively new website that is "only" a PR 2 among the big boys who've muscled up to PR 4. The #2 website in the current field is the one that was stolen from me and it is still using much of my work, my writing, and my images in spite of a cease and desist order. But I'm getting there! And I'm doing it in record time.Real-Sonic-Bloom.com developed out of my 15 years of organic gardening experience and my occasional use of Sonic Bloom after meeting Dan Carlson, the inventor 20 years ago. While marketing my art across the USA for five years and nearly three years in Europe, I had little opportunity to garden, but as you organic gardeners know, the urge never goes away. When I settled in Mount Shasta, California for a few years, I had the opportunity to start a garden in a vacant lot next door. I had to supplement the Sonic Bloom program with cow manure tea made from dried cow dung gathered from the forests on the flank of Mount Shasta. It worked wonderfully well. While in Germany, I had also learned how to develop a website so that it would reach the top of Google results. When that website was stolen by my partner at the time, I had to start all over. This website, www.real-sonic-bloom.com was started in late May 2007 and after discovering the flaws in the Sonic Bloom product, I redirected the website to Plant by Nature which reflects some of the original research of the Sonic Bloom inventor and adds some major discoveries of another inventor, Lamar DeSpain. As it turns out, Plant by Nature is a REAL sonic bloom for several reasons. It REALLY does what Sonic Bloom purports to do. So how do I get such fast results? Apply the principles. Words are the key. Word-crafting is the primary skill. Keywords are the bricks and keyword phrases are the mortar. You must know your target market and what words they would use to find you. Once you've selected several key words and keyword phrases, find ways to use them in writing your content. You'll need to push the repetition beyond your normal good composition because the search engine spiderbots crawling the web are not interested in good composition. They are searching for evidence of content that fills the needs of their users. Resist the temptation to use pronouns to substitute for your key words. Use your key words or keyword phrases at the beginning of your sentences and titles and then in the middle and end of sentences. "Sonic Bloom" is my primary keyword phrase because it is a large, relatively generic search term with over 48,000 websites, some of which mention a rock group called "Sonic Bloom." Fortunately my domain name is REAL Sonic Bloom so it fits for Plant by Nature which uses sound, too. This is a niche market. A larger market would be something like "Organic Gardening." This more generic market has 1.7 million competitors. Some day I might go after that market. I would need to optimize for the keyword phrase, "organic gardening". I just might do that just for the fun of it. It would be helpful if I would create a folder called "organic_ gardening" so that this keyword phrase would at least show up in the URL. Of course it's much better to have the keyword phrase in the domain name. Images are not included in the search engine algorithm that ranks your website. They might be useful and even desirable for your visitors, but they do nothing for your search engine ranking. There is, however, a solution. You can place a statement in the alt text command that shows up when the cursor mouses over the image. I've done that in the images on this page. Check it out. That allows me to increase the density of the keywords or keyword phrases without the spiderbot penalizing me. No image on your website should be without a keyword or keyword phrase alt text. I don't use navigation buttons because I would rather have the navigation bar in linked text. Notice that I have repeated the keyword phrase, "Plant by Nature", the name of the product I sell. I've also repeated organic gardening in association with Plant by Nature. With a little work I could begin to show up in the Google results for Organic Gardening. "Nature's Way" is another keyword phrase that is found on over 2 million websites. Plant by Nature is only found on only 60 websites.
Notice that I also found a way to include a
repetitious keyword phrase on the right with two high
